For those of you who dont already know, I have been testing a set of mink false lashes from Esqido. I have been wearing the same pair every day for 21 days! This is my recap of week 3. If you’d like to read week 1 and week 2, you can find links at the bottom of this post.
Okay guys, admittedly I don’t really have much to say, mainly because these lashes are still performing just as wonderfully as they have been since day one. I have actually applied and re-applied these lashes more than just seven times this week, because I have been playing with makeup a lot more than usual. I’ll do a look in the morning, take it off, and do another look later on. Here are some photos that I took this week.

For some reason on this day my eye was soooo watery! Probably because I put on makeup twice. I commited myself to the cause though and kept the lashes on. You can see in the photo where I kept wiping the bottom right part of my eye. All the makeup has come off, and the lashes are wet, but they stayed on.
Is it weird that I imagine the titanic soundtrack when I’m worried about them coming off? You know, when rose is clinging to that door? Eh? No?

So yeah. Each week I become more and more impressed with the quality of these lashes. I was pretty skeptical when I read that they could be worn up to 25 times with proper care, but I’m on day 22 as I write this and these lashes show no sign of quitting.
For the sake of full disclosure, let me give you a little run down of how I’ve cared for these lashes. I have cleaned them at least ten times. At first I was trying to clean them every night, but since so little of the Esqido lash companion glue is needed, I really have to let it build up before I can pull it off with tweezers.
I have never put mascara on these lashes. Esqido recommends applying mascara before you put the lashes on. I know some people use mascara to blend their real eyelashes in with the false ones, but my eyelashes have a pretty good natural curl so I haven’t had a problem with them blending.
I have brushed them out with a spoolie each night and put them away in the little box they came in. Having the box is nice because it’s sturdy and has a magnetic closure, so I can throw it in my purse and not worry about my lashes getting crushed.
I use Neutrogena oil free makeup remover to take these off at night. I have only ever ripped them off once, as you might have read about in week two.
Breakdown
So far the cost per use of these lashes is $1.52 USD.

If I had known this before my little experiment I would have been wearing mink lashes years ago!

Hi, on the Esqido site, they said that using alcohol based make-up removers could damage the band. Neutrogena has benzyl alcohol. I am not having the same experience as you. I take care not to rip the lashes and I used (or used) Neutrogena also to remove and clean the lash band but the band breaks down even if I avoid using tweezors and just use my nail or fingers.

Hey! How are you putting the alcohol on the band? I think they mean not to get alcohol on the lashes themselves. The band should be fine since it’s made of cotton. I usually use a qtip to dap the remover on the band and let it sit for a bit before I use tweezers to get the excess glue off.
